Source of Funds

The Source of Funds module allows merchants to register and manage external funding accounts that can be used to finance payouts and disbursements.

Instead of relying solely on wallet balance, merchants can link approved funding sources and select them at the point of initiating a payment.

Supported funding sources may include:

• Bank accounts
• Mobile money wallets
• Other approved funding instruments

When making a payment or disbursement, the merchant can choose a listed Source of Funds account. Brij will debit the selected funding account to process the transaction.

This feature provides:

• Operational flexibility
• Faster funding for disbursements
• Reduced wallet prefunding requirements
• Better cash flow management

All funding sources may be subject to verification and compliance review before activation.
